Finals Battle Thread





Introduction:
Welcome to the 2006 DMusic Summer Battles home page.
First off, I promise a 100% fair tournament run by myself, Dizeazed, and with help
from the DMusic administrative staff.
This is an audio battle tournament: Not text.
This tournament is held during July, will consist of 24 opponents, and lasts 4 rounds.
The battles will be 1 vs 1 until the final round, which will be a 3-way battle.

Tournament Rules:
1. All opponents must post their tracks on the same account that they used to sign up for the tournament. If you don't, your opponent may have you disqualified. Tracks will then be uploaded on this page for everyone to vote on.
(Only votes located on this page will count)

2. All opponents must post their tracks by the specified due date and time. No extensions will be given for any reason. If there is a problem with your site then upload your track here to (dizeazedmc@hotmail.com) after notifying me via note or e-mail. If you post any time past the due date (even 1 minute) your opponent may have you disqualified.

3. All verses must be within the specified time limit. This includes your entire track, not just the verse(s) itself. If your track runs over the time limit, your opponent may have you disqualified.

Battle Time Limits:
Round 1: 1:00 - 3:00 minutes
Round 2: 2:00 - 4:00 minutes
Round 3: 2:00 - 5:00 minutes
Round 4: 3:00 - 6:00 minutes

4. All contenders must vote on at least 3 battles (not including their own: voting for yourself will not count) each round, as well as explain with moderate detail as to why their vote was cast.
- If you are partaking in this battle and do not submit 3 votes per round, you will be disqualified.

5. I thought this rule would be common sense, but last year I was proved wrong. If you upload a track that is NOT YOURS... You will be disqualified!

Tournament Schedule:
Battle Cards Posted: Wednesday (3:00 PM PST)

Tracks Due: Sunday (11:59 PM PST)
[July: 9, 16, 23 & 30]
Voting Ends: Wednesday (1:00 PM PST)
[July: 12, 19, 26 & Aug. 2]

How to vote:
- Voters must have AT LEAST 200 legit “user posts” to vote/post on the battles, unless they are taking part in the tournament. If you vote/post without having a minimum of 200 user posts, your vote/post will be deleted. However, users without 200 posts can say anything they'd like in the Battle Thread

- All votes are to be posted on the comment section, of the first track listed, in each battle. To help clarify, DO NOT post anything where it says:
* * * PLACE YOUR VOTE/FEEDBACK ON OPPONENTS TRACK COMMENTS: ALL POSTS HERE WILL BE DELETED! * * *
(It will make it much easier for me to count the votes, and for people to scroll through and read others feedback, if all the votes/feedback is one page)

- There will be NO BEEFING OR VOTE SWAYING in the track comments. If you aren't voting or giving feedback, you have NO business posting in the track comments. If you have beef, take it to the Battle Thread. All beef, vote swaying, nonsense, etc. will be deleted.

- Submit detail when you post, such as an explination to why your vote was cast. Posts simply stating "My vote = Emcee #1" will not count and be deleted.
